About Us

Healing support for first responders at Still Waters Ranch with faith and renewal.

About Still Waters Ranch

Still Waters Ranch was founded with a simple but urgent purpose: to care for those who spend their lives caring for others.

First responders routinely face trauma, chronic stress, and emotional exhaustion in the line of duty. While they are trained to protect and serve, many lack access to environments specifically designed to support their own healing and restoration. Still Waters Ranch exists to change that.

Our program provides a peaceful, structured, and supportive residential experience where first responders can step away from the demands of their profession and focus fully on recovery, renewal, and long-term well-being.

Welcome to Still Waters Ranch WA

Why Still Waters Ranch Exists

The emotional toll of first responder work is well-documented. Rates of PTSD, anxiety, depression, burnout, substance use, and suicide remain significantly higher than those of the general population.

Behind every badge, uniform, and radio is a human being who has witnessed extraordinary situations under extreme pressure. Yet many struggle in silence due to stigma, career concerns, or lack of specialized resources.

Still Waters Ranch was created to provide something different:

✔ A setting intentionally removed from daily triggers
✔ A program designed specifically for first responders
✔ A focus on restoration, not just crisis intervention

Our Approach to Healing

Healing at Still Waters Ranch is grounded in a holistic, multidisciplinary model. Participants engage in a carefully structured experience that may include:

• Evidence-based trauma-informed support
• Physical fitness and stress regulation
• Nutritionally balanced meals and lifestyle renewal
• Horsemanship and experiential growth
• Reflection, rest, and community connection

We believe recovery is most effective when mental, physical, and emotional health are addressed together.raised.

Our Vision

"At Still Waters Ranch, our vision is to offer first responders a path to new beginnings—where healing extends beyond the badge and uniform. We aim to guide individuals in rediscovering their purpose and strength, not just by addressing the visible scars of physical trauma, but by healing the hidden wounds of the mind and spirit. Through a combination of psychotherapy, skill-building, and holistic approaches, we create a transformative space for first responders to redefine themselves, embrace their new chapter, and live healthier, more fulfilling lives."environment.

Our Values

Still Waters Ranch is guided by core principles:

Compassion – Every participant is treated with respect and understanding
Integrity – Clinical, operational, and financial transparency
Excellence – Evidence-based and professionally guided care
Restoration – Supporting long-term well-being, not temporary relief
