Joseph Campbell

 — Founder

Joseph Campbell spent over a decade in public safety — as a volunteer firefighter, wildland firefighter, EMT, and Washington State Patrol Trooper. After years of cumulative trauma exposure, he was diagnosed with PTSD and medically separated from the Patrol in 2020. His journey through crisis, treatment, and recovery led to one conviction: Washington's first responders deserve this care in their own state.

Still Waters Ranch WA is his answer to that conviction — built from lived experience, and dedicated to the men and women who protect us all.

Emily Shoemaker

- Board member

My passion has always been to be a therapist/counselor, even as a middle school student, which led me to pursue an education in that field. I completed my Bachelor's degree at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA wit, a degree in Family Studies, and earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. As a Washington state licensed therapist, my licensure is as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

While working in community mental health since 2009, I encountered a wide range of challenges that clients were facing - both in couples and individual sessions. I truly enjoy working with clients to help them succeed in meeting their needs, wants, and overall goals for their lives.
